We have a wide variety of activities planned in the new year. All of the following events are "Boomer Members Only" events as seating is limited and our club has grown in leaps and bounds!
Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, January 11 at the Lodge between 10am and 12noon for our Valentine's Day dinner at Brian's Place to be held on February 15. Tickets will be $35 each which includes your meal, tax, tip, and music. There will be a selection of 4 entrees . You must make your selection when you purchase your ticket. Menu will be available for you to choose on Wednesday, January 11. We are limited to 60 tickets.
There are still a few scattered tickets remaining for The Soul Crooners on February 11. Tickets are $20 each and are on sale now.
Our Golf Scramble outing is scheduled for February 26. Tickets will go on sale in early February. Stay tuned for more details as soon as they become available.
We have several events planned for March. On March 10 there will be a Progressive Dinner with only 20 tickets available. Details of this event will be announced in February. Also on March 18 we will host Drag Racing - Boomer Guys (or Gals) with an event planned to Gainesville, Florida. Stay tuned for event details and ticket sales soon. There will be a very limited number of tickets available for this event. March 31 will be a return of Bus Stop Band for a night of music, dancing and friendship at the PAC. Ticket sales for this event will be announced in February.
Our Bowling event on January 17 is Sold Out but we do have a wait list. Our January 29 event with Rocky and the Rollers is also Sold Out.
April is a fun filled month with special events such as April 1, Boomer Birthday Party on the Lodge Porch, April 8 is Game Night at the Lodge, April 12, Chello and Band at the PAC, Kayaking, date to be determined later, and also a Black & White Dinner at the Country Club. The date for this event has not been determined. More details on all of these events will be provided later.
Our annual meeting is January 20 at 5pm. We hope to see you there. It will be a brief meeting followed by the introduction of the six candidates who have decided to run for the Timber Pines Board of Directors. Congratulations to each candidate for offering their time and talents to our community. We are especially proud that two of the candidates, Chris Gottfried and Doug Brooks, are active members in the Boomers Club!
